The Pioneer Woman Cooks (highly recommended cookbook) Two Thumbs Up!

I just received The Pioneer Woman’s new cookbook today and………I Love it! Love it!! Love it!!!

It is so much more than I ever expected. The cover of the book is beautiful and the inside is filled with vibrant fall colors, photos and nostalgic illustrations. In my opinion Ree has created an outstanding cookbook that is entertaining, whimsical, and creative. Every page brings to life her unique existence of living on a cattle ranch.

She has weaved a precious story about love, family, hard work and kindness through the art of cooking; giving you a glimpse of what her life is like. It is very orderly and reads like a novel from beginning to end. It is obvious that this book was well thought out.

The quality is exceptional and well worth the price. I thought that it would be the very same recipes posted on her blog, but there were so many new ones. If I had to sum it all up I would say it was like Cowgirl meets Mary Engelbreit. And in my opinion nothing could be better!

Why did I think it was important to post a review of her cookbook? Because The Pioneer Woman’s Blog is the reason I started blogging in the first place. Thank you Ree! You have inspired me in ways you will never know. Congratulations to you on the success of your book!

Okay, that's it. "The Pioneer Woman Cooks" will be my Christmas present to myself this year!!! ( quite frankly, I have enough bars of scented soap to build myself a castle, so I now buy myself one 'wanted' gift a year)

I love, love, LOVE the recipes on her blog, and therefor, my man loves 'me'..lol! But it's nice to know that there are plenty of new recipes in the cookbook, because that's what was holding me back from buying it.. so thanks for the review!

And Ree? Well, she's the reason I started blogging as well... :D

My son went to her book signing in St. Louis, braved the crowd and even had her talk to me on the phone! I am in Indiana. I hope I don't have to wait until Christmas to get my cookbook!
